McDonalds of Laredo presented Dovalina, Leyendecker, Kawas, and D.D. Hachar Elementary Schools with a check during a ceremony at the LISD PAC Foyer. McDonalds hosted LISD McTeacher Night at various locations recently to benefit the four schools. The school received the donation for their efforts during the schools McTeacher Night Fundraiser.

We experienced a false alarm today due to a malfunction in our fire alarm system. The Laredo Fire Department has inspected and cleared everything. All students and staff are safe, and we have resumed normal operations. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Today we proudly celebrated the grand opening of our TYZONE Dillo Gameroom at J.A. Kawas Elementary! 🎮✨

We extend our deepest appreciation to Mr. Steve Tyson for his generous donation and unwavering support for our students. Because of his kindness, our children now have a fun, engaging space where they can learn the value of positive behavior, teamwork, and personal growth.

This gameroom will inspire our students to set goals, work hard, and become the next generation of leaders, creators, and innovators. 💫

Parents and guardians, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be taking Thanksgiving/Fall pictures this Friday! We look forward to capturing your child’s festive look. 🧡
Each picture is $5.00, and all proceeds will go toward the Technology Expo.
