From the Principal
Welcome to our new web site and to the 2007 - 2008 school year. It promises to be an exciting and challenging year. I look foward to the challenge and I hope you will join me in meeting the challenge that a new school year brings. You know that working together always makes a difference and this year should be no exception. Teamwork will help us accomplish our goal. Again, like every year, scoring high in TAKS is our number one goal. Every teacher from Pre-Kinder to Fifth Grade must commit themselves to teaching every child and making them succeed at their grade level. As teachers you have the power to enhance the knowledge of each child in your care. Love each child as if he/she were your own. Treat them with respect and teach them to respect each other. You are a role model to each child in your classroom. Be positive and find something good in each child. I know that I always find something good in each teacher at our campus. Strive to be the very BEST and you will not fail. My doors are always open for you. Remember you represent H. B. Zachry Elementary. Do it with lots of PRIDE.
